A few weekends ago Allie and I had the opportunity to stay in a friend’s house on a little known beach in Chinandega. It really is unlike anywhere else I have been. Dirt roads lead down to wide empty beaches that farmers use to herd their cattle. Scattered fishing boats line the shore patiently waiting for their crews. All in all the simplicity was a most welcome contrast to the city.
